Of every piece of jewelry and every kind rings are by far and away my favorite.  Seems silly that I only own less than one handful and only two are made of real gold.  Pathetic!  When I went looking for some antique rings it struck me how many there actually are!  I only searched a few pages and found about 10 I fell in love with immediately.  Wow.   Here are just a few, and there are a ton more.

Here is my son right after his first football game.  He doesn't know much about the game, but he gives his all and his coaches love him for it.  He's first string for the Wickenburg Wranglers Junior Varsity.  He's number 60 on special teams, and playing right defensive tackle.  This was the first game away at Coolidge.  They lost but by only one point, 25-24.  They played a great game!

This is a notebook I did custom for a client, and really love the colors.  I hand cut and pieced the peacock to match one of the logos of her business.  She wanted it to lay flat so I chose to spiral bind it and that also lets the cover fold all the way back taking up less space while in use. Sometimes being busy isn't fun, but this week is going great, even though it's busy. Hubby was out in the garage and happened to look up above at a shelf, hanging there by one foot was a dead hummingbird.  It was just hanging there by the one foot clutched to the shelf, and the other one all curled up, wings spread wide.  Poor guy, but it was really neat to see one so close up.  It's long needle like tongue was hanging out too :(

Wow, what an amazing experience!  My first craft fair, and it went great. At school the kids have Crazy Hair Day for spirit week.  So Tanner is growing out his hair, but it's still pretty short. You guys HAVE to see the ginormous butterfly in this video that Barbara did. We were in her shop here in AZ awhile back while she was working on it.  Yay, got my birdies done, here they are! Making these is pretty simple. If you want nice straight lines for your stitching just create a lined grid on any program and then print it onto the back of your paper.  Super easy and quick!

Been working on a beaded little birdie to hang up on the wall.   I'm really liking how it's turning out, I'll post pics later today when it's done.  It takes some time stitching each bead in place, but worth it for the sparkle and texture!
